Then you add your ice and shake like crazy. Also, for shaking drinks, especially thick drinks like this, you need whole cubes of ice - you'll get better consistency this way. Lastly, always measure and pour your spirits first and then add the ice - it's hard to see if you need to make any adjustments if your add your ice first. Also, it cuts down on the dilution (you'll get the right amount of dilution from ice melt if you shake long enough).Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08574437059524532626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-681360628836486475.post-736518358897211482011-01-15T17:15:48.838-07:002011-01-15T17:15:48.838-07:00Amaro does not need to be kept in the fridge. It's usually around 30% alcohol by volume, has a high amount of sugar and has a spirit base rather than a wine base like vermouth - which you do want to keep refrigerated to prolong their useful life.Boulder Libationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773243420162343574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-681360628836486475.post-40280115610635965142011-01-15T17:08:44.919-07:002011-01-15T17:08:44.919-07:00A friend is bringing some fresh laid eggs tomorrow...A friend is bringing some fresh laid eggs tomorrow. Nice timing. Will give one of these a try. Question...do you have to keep Amaro in the fridge? Gonna get in trouble with the wife if I have too many bottles in the fridge.drewbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03058064335240997371noreply@blogger.com
